What to have ready before a campaign starts: the buyer checklist

Eight things a buyer brings, what RUCKUS does with each one, and why a campaign with the list complete goes from signed to live in a few days.

Quick answer. A signed one-page agreement and the fee, a Content Rewards organization with your card on it, a source pack with a footage letter, the money decisions, the brief inputs, the dates, and one person who can answer a question inside a day. With the list complete, a campaign is live within a few days.

The list

You bringWe do with it
The one-page agreement, signed, and the fee paid. 20% of the approved budget, invoiced separately and never taken from the pot.Nothing is configured before the fee clears; the agreement fixes the scope, the dates and who approves clips.
A Content Rewards organization with a card on it. You fund it; we start at $3,000, and the platform's own minimum is $1,000.We never hold the budget and never ask for your card. You keep the cap and the cancel button.
The source pack. Thirty to one hundred and twenty minutes of footage you own or have a letter for, logo files, and a do-not-use list.We cut the three reference clips from it and write the pack's boundaries into the campaign's fields.
The footage letter. Who owns the footage and what clippers may use.It is what lets us deny a clip from outside the pack, and what protects you if a clipper cuts something they should not.
The money decisions. The budget, the rate per 1,000 views inside the platform's band of $0.20 to $1.00, the per-video cap, and the minimum views (2,000 by our default). We set them in the platform's own fields, so clippers see them before they start.
The brief inputs. The one message, three reference clips, three hooks, and the words you never want used.We write the one-page brief and put the rules where the platform enforces them.
The dates. The paid window, the review windows (the platform runs a 7-day earning window and a 3-day hold), and the day-14 and day-30 checks. The Friday report runs on these dates, bad news first.
One person who answers. Someone who can settle a question about the footage or the brief inside a day.A campaign stalls on an unanswered question more often than on anything else.

What the source pack should not contain

Leaked or pre-release material, other creators' footage without a letter, music you do not license for short-form use, and anything the platform's own rules exclude. A clipper who cuts from outside the pack is denied with that reason, so the pack has to be clean before the brief goes out.

Launch week

A campaign for GTA 6's launch week sells in October with its brief ready by 11 November, and the launch-week calendar lays out the dates. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

FAQ

Can you start without a footage letter?

No. The letter is what the whole review rests on.

Do you need my card or my login?

Never. The campaign lives in your organization, and our fee is a separate invoice.

How fast after the list is complete?

The source pack and the brief take a few days. The rest is the platform's own set-up time.
