RUCKUS / FAQ
Questions, answered.
Clippers ask.
Do I need a big following?
No. You need a verified account, a clip that follows the brief, and the minimum views. The platform pulls the views from its own API, and nobody asks for screenshots.
Do I pay RUCKUS anything?
Never. No fee for access, training, coaching or campaigns, and no team commission on your payouts. Buyers fund campaigns; clippers get paid from them.
When do I get paid?
By the platform, to the payout method you saved, when the campaign's cycle closes. The earning window is 7 days plus a 3-day hold. RUCKUS is never in the money path.
What can I clip?
The footage in the campaign's source pack, under the footage letter the buyer signed. A clip from outside the pack is denied with that reason, and anything leaked or pre-release gets a ban.
Why was my clip denied?
Every denial names a rule from a written library: missing disclosure, outside the source pack, under the minimum, a repost, a watermark, or a caption that invents something. Fixable clips say what to change and invite a resubmission.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes, on your own word. RUCKUS never collects identification or dates of birth, and Content Rewards requires adult creators.
Buyers ask.
Do you hold the budget?
No. You fund the campaign in your own Content Rewards organization, with your own card, your own cap and your own cancel button. Our fee is a separate invoice, paid before we configure anything.
What does it cost?
20% of the approved budget, invoiced separately and never taken from the pot, production quoted per job, and a retainer of $1,250 to $3,000 a month once you have seen a result. We start campaigns at $3,000. Content Rewards itself sets a $1,000 minimum per campaign and takes platform fees of about 20%.
How fast can a campaign start?
Terms and the fee first, then the source pack and the brief, which takes a few days. A campaign for launch week should be sold in October with its brief ready by 11 November.
What do clippers get paid?
The rate per 1,000 views you set inside the platform's band, which runs $0.20 to $1.00 for entertainment clipping. The campaign budget is the entire pot, under 2,000 views pays nothing by our default, and only approved clips get paid. We publish rates and terms, never earnings.
Do you guarantee views?
No. We report what happened, with the bad news first, and month two is priced from what month one taught us.
Are you affiliated with Rockstar Games?
No. RUCKUS is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, and Rockstar's fan-content policy covers occasional, non-commercial use only. Streamer and server campaigns clip their own broadcasts under a footage letter, and no brand money goes on GTA gameplay.
Do you have case studies?
Not yet, and the site does not pretend otherwise. What there is instead is a shape that makes it hard for us to take advantage of you and easy for you to walk: your account, your cap, our fee invoiced after the terms, and a report of facts.
Who runs RUCKUS?
One operator with a network, based in California and remote everywhere else. We take one client at a time onto a new campaign rather than five, and we do not publish who we work with, because servers in this space compete with each other.
What we do not do.
- Hold your budget or let it pass through our accounts.
- Take a cut of a creator's deals. We are a studio, not a talent agency; we never solicit or negotiate on a creator's behalf.
- Sell followers, views, or clips that pretend to be organic. Every paid clip carries its disclosure inside the content.
- Recruit clippers with earnings figures. We publish rates and terms, never outcomes.
- Put brand money on GTA gameplay, or touch anything leaked or pre-release.
- Promise a number we have not produced.
Run a campaign on your own account.
Your budget, your cap, your cancel button. Our brief, our clippers, our review queue, and a report of what happened.
