RUCKUS / Compare
Three ways to buy clipping.
Side by side, on the questions a campaign turns on. Marketplaces and agencies are described from their own public pages and the course material we studied; RUCKUS is described from its own agreement.
| The question | A self-serve marketplace | The agency model | RUCKUS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who holds the budget | You fund a campaign on the platform | The agency takes the budget, keeps 20% to 30%, and passes the rest to the platform | You fund your own Content Rewards organization. Our fee is a separate invoice |
| Who sets the rate and the cap | You | The agency, on your behalf | You, with our recommendation in writing |
| Who reads the review queue | You, or the platform's own clock decides | The agency, on its schedule | RUCKUS, twice a day, inside a published 24-hour window, with a written reason on every denial |
| How views are verified | Platform APIs plus the platform's bot screening | Whatever the platform provides | The platform's screening, plus our own day-14 and day-30 re-checks of every approved clip |
| Disclosure after approval | Not monitored | Rarely monitored; some courses teach that clips work because they do not read as ads | Checked at approval, day 7, 14, 30 and 90 on a sample. A missing disclosure is a fire |
| What it costs | Platform fees of about 20% of the budget | 20% to 30% off the top, usually disclosed on a call | 20% of the approved budget, invoiced separately, published on the price sheet |
| Minimum | $1,000 on Content Rewards | Often a $10,000 floor | $3,000 to start; the platform itself allows $1,000 |
| Who the clippers are | Everyone on the platform | The agency's network, often the same people | The same people, briefed for GTA and roleplay, reviewed by a human who knows the niche |
| What you get at the end | A dashboard | A summary | A per-clip verification report and a one-page summary with the bad news first |
| Proof on offer | Aggregate view totals and logo walls | Case studies, some of which fail their own arithmetic | No case studies yet, said plainly. A price sheet, a report template and a census we counted ourselves |
| Fits best | A buyer with time to run the queue | A buyer with a large budget who wants everything handled | A buyer who wants it run, wants to keep the money, and wants to see what happened |
Marketplace fees: the brand and clipper fees and card processing on Content Rewards add up to about 20% of gross, verified 14 September 2026. The agency figures come from the clipping course we studied, which teaches a 20% to 30% fee and a $10,000 floor. Neither is a claim about any named company's private terms.
What we cannot offer yet.
A marketplace can show you view totals across thousands of campaigns. An agency can show you clients. RUCKUS can show you its agreement, its price sheet, its report template and its census. If you need a logo wall before you buy, we are not ready for you, and we would rather say so than invent one.
Run a campaign on your own account.
Your budget, your cap, your cancel button. Our brief, our clippers, our review queue, and a report of what happened.
