Choose the payment model first
Content Rewards offers CPM, per-post and retainer campaigns. A larger budget does not automatically turn CPM into per-post. Standard platform pricing is 10%, or 8% for verified organizations; funding terms also describe a separate processing charge. The checkout is the place to confirm your actual allocation. Pricing and organization terms.
The platform's creator fee is distinct from the studio invoice. CPM carries a 10% creator fee regardless of campaign size. Per-post and retainer campaigns at $5,000 or above qualify for the stated creator-fee waiver. RUCKUS takes no additional commission from clippers. Creator terms.
Worked planning example: $10,000 CPM campaign
This illustration reserves 10% within the funded budget for platform charges, assumes a $270 processing allowance outside it, and uses a $0.50 gross CPM. These are planning inputs, not a checkout quote or a forecast.
| Destination | Illustration |
|---|---|
| Funded campaign budget | $10,000 |
| Platform reserve inside budget | $1,000 |
| Gross creator reward pool | $9,000 |
| Illustrative creator net after 10% creator fee | $8,100 |
| RUCKUS studio invoice, 20% | $2,000 |
| Entered processing allowance | $270 |
| Illustrative buyer cash required | $12,270 |
At $0.50 per 1,000 eligible views, a $9,000 gross pool covers at most 18 million payable views under these assumptions. That is spending capacity, not expected reach. Rejected work, view thresholds, caps and unused budget change what actually settles. Taxes, production and withdrawal charges are excluded.
Use the interactive pricing calculator to change the inputs. For per-post work, price approved deliverables; for a retainer, price the cycle and its scope. Do not convert those contracts into a promised CPM.
What the studio fee buys
The agreed scope covers the campaign brief, clipper coordination, review and reporting. Editing for your own accounts, long-form production and expanded reporting are separately scoped when needed. The initial deposit and balance dates belong in the agreement; the proposed first-engagement deposit is 50% of the studio fee.
RUCKUS's minimum is a service choice. A smaller self-managed campaign may still be useful. A creator who primarily needs edited videos can start with a production quote instead of funding a public campaign.
Measure the result you wanted
For an RP server, track qualified applications and activated players where attribution is available. For a creator, track returning viewers and subscribers alongside approved clips. For a product, track destination visits and purchases. Reach is useful, but a large public view count is not a verified sales result.
